The Central Government has extended the exemption period for imports of Yellow Peas (HS 0713 10 10) from applicable Basic Customs Duty and Agriculture Infrastructure Development Cess. Through Notification No. 17/2025-Customs dated March 7, 2025, issued under Section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, read with Section 124 of the Finance Act, 2021, the exemption period previously set to expire on February 28, 2025, has been extended to May 31, 2025.
