Summary

The Appellate Tribunal CESTAT, New Delhi granted waiver of pre-deposit of penalty of Rs. 2 Lakhs to the applicants. The goods seized did not have MRP stickers as required by Notification No. 44(RE-2000)/1997-2000. The goods were legally imported and cleared with proper documents, so the penalty was waived for hearing of the appeal. Stay petition was allowed.
