1972 (3) TMI 76 - HC - VAT and Sales Tax

The High Court of Patna ruled that the order for a dealer to deposit sales tax amount was invalid as section 20-A of the Bihar Sales Tax Act was deemed ultra vires by the Supreme Court. The reference was answered in the negative. (Case: M/s. Christian Mica Industries Ltd.)
