2015 (12) TMI 1688 - HC - Indian LawsMaintainability of the writ petition - Held that - As pointed out by the counsel appearing on both sides that in so far as the tax matters are concerned, the proceedings have been taken up for assessment and re-assessment. As regards action to be taken by the CBI, the learned counsel appearing for the CBI states that RC has been registered and the investigation is continuing. They inform this court that the investigation would be taken to its logical conclusion in accordance with law. In view of this, no further directions are necessary in this writ petition and we need not go into the issue of maintainability. The writ petition stands disposed of.
The Delhi High Court disposed of a writ petition as tax proceedings were ongoing and a CBI investigation was in progress. No further directions were needed, and the writ petition along with pending applications were disposed of.
