2011 (7) TMI 14 - HC - CustomsRe-exporting of goods - The petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the respondent, through its authorised representative, with regard to the re-exporting of the goods in question, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order - On receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks thereafter - The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
The High Court of Madras directed the petitioner to make a representation to the first respondent for re-exporting goods within 15 days. The first respondent must then consider and pass appropriate orders within two weeks. The writ petition was disposed of with no costs.
