2016 (11) TMI 1666 - HC - Companies LawRelease of seized vehicle - HELD THAT - The petitioner is permitted to make application to respondent No.3 for release of the seized vehicle. Respondent No.3 is directed to consider such application and pass appropriate orders as per G.O.Ms.No.3, Industries and Commerce (Mines.I) Department, dated 08.01.2015 as amended by G.O.Ms.No.5, Industries Commerce (Mines.I) Department, dated 19.02.2015 for release of the seized vehicle, within a period of three days from the date of receipt of application. Petition disposed off.
The High Court of Telangana disposed of a writ petition directing respondent No.3 to consider releasing a seized vehicle within three days of receiving an application from the petitioner. The decision was based on a previous judgment in a similar case. No costs were awarded.
