The Supreme Court, through Hon'ble Justices Vineet Saran and Dinesh Maheshwari, issued an order upon hearing counsel for both parties. The Court directed issuance of notice and granted the respondent time until 31.08.2021 to file a counter affidavit, with the petitioner allowed to file a rejoinder by 06.09.2021. The matter was scheduled for listing on 07.09.2021. Crucially, the Court ordered a stay of further proceedings in CC Nos. 5 and 15 of 2017 and 2016 respectively, pending before the Principal Special Judge for Trial of SPE & ACB cases, Hyderabad.
