2025 (1) TMI 926 - SCH - GSTSeeking permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file an application for review - Petitioner s right for cancellation of its Goods and Service Tax (GST) registration - it was held by High Court that It is considered apposite to dispose of the writ petition by directing that the respondent shall take steps for cancellation of the petitioner s GST registration in terms of its application. HELD THAT - The Special Leave Petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed.
In the Supreme Court case presided over by Hon'ble Justice Abhay S. Oka and Hon'ble Justice Augustine George Masih, the petitioner, represented by senior counsel Ms. Nisha Bagchi and her team, sought permission to withdraw the Special Leave Petition. The Court granted this request, allowing the petitioner the "liberty to file an application for review." Consequently, the petition was "disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed."
