Summary

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Bombay ordered the applicants to deposit Rs. 6,09,768/- towards duty and Rs. 25,000/- towards penalty. The plant and machinery were ordered confiscation but allowed redemption on payment of a fine of Rs. 20,000/-.
