ITC(HS), 2022 Schedule 2 Export Policy Section II, VEGETABLE PRODUCTS Chapter 10 Cereals. Main Notes Sl.No. Notes Notification Date Notification No 1 (a) The products specified in the headings of this Chapter are to be classified in those headings only if grains are present, whether or not in the ear or on the stalk. (b) This Chapter does not cover grains which have been hulled or otherwise worked. However, rice, husked, milled, polished, glazed, parboiled or broken remains classified in heading 1006. Similarly, quinoa from which the pericarp has been wholly or partly removed in order to separate the saponin, but which has not undergone any other processes, remains classified in heading 1008. 2 The above conditions in respect of export of Non Basmati Rice will not be applicable to exports undertaken as under: Export of non-Basmati rice (i) under Food Aid Programme and (ii) under bi-lateral trade agreement between Government of India and Government of Maldives shall be permitted. Export of 21,200 MTs per annum to Bhutan (as per Calender year i.e. from 1st January to 31st December) of non-Basmati rice will be exempted from any export ban. 3 Export of 10,000 tons of non-Basmati rice to Horn of Africa (Kenya, Somalia and Djibonti) from Central Pool Stock of FCI at economic cost of Rs.20,689.50 per ton will be permitted. 4 Export of Organic non-Basmati Rice (excluding rice in husk paddy or rough) from Custom EDI ports have been exempted from all quantitative ceilings irrespective of any existing or future restriction/ prohibition on export of their basic product (non-organic), with due certification by APEDA as organic under the NPOP. 03/2015-2020 5 Export of organic wheat from Custom EDI ports have been exempted from all quantitative ceilings irrespective of any existing or future restriction/ prohibition on export of their basic product (non-organic), with due certification by APEDA as organic under the NPOP [Notification No. 03/2015-2020 dated 19.04.2017] 6 Export of wheat per annum to Bhutan (as per Calendar year i.e. 1st January to 31st December) shall be exempted from any export ban. 7 Export of Organic Non-Basmati Rice, including Organic Non-basmati broken Rice, will be governed as per provisions under Notification No. 03/2015-20 dated 19th April, 2017 03/2015-20 dated 19th April, 2017 Sub-Heading Notes Sl.No. Notes Notification Date Notification No 1 The term Durum wheat means wheat of the Triticum durum species and the hybrids derived from the inter-specific crossing of Triticum durum which have the same number (28) of chromosomes as that species.
