3. Appointment of Director General ( 1 [ Trade Remedies ]). - (1) The Central Government may, by notification in the official Gazette appoint an officer not below the rank of a Joint Secretary to the Government of India or such other officer as it may think fit as the Director General ( 1 [ Trade Remedies ] ) hereinafter referred to as the Director General for the purposes of these rules. (2) The Central Government may provide to the Director General the services of such other persons and such other facilities at it deems fit. ************ NOTES:- 1.
