Rule 1 - Short title and commencement - Foreign Exchange (Compounding Proceedings) Rules 2000.

No. 383(E), dated 3/5/2000 -In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46 read with sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) the Central Government here by makes the following rules relating to compounding contraventions under chapter IV of the said Act, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement - (1) These rules may be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Compounding Proceedings) Rules, 2000 . (2) They shall come into force on the 1st day of June, 2000.
