INSOLVENCY AND BANKRUPTCY BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 31st March, 2017 INSOLVENCY AND BANKRUPTCY BOARD OF INDIA (VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION PROCESS) REGULATIONS, 2017 IBBI/2016-17/GN/REG010. - In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 59, 196 and 208 read with section 240 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (31 of 2016), the Board hereby makes the following Regulations, namely:- CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY 1. Short title and commencement. (1) These Regulations may be called the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Voluntary Liquidation Process) Regulations, 2017. (2) These Regulations shall come into force on 1st April, 2017. (3) These Regulations shall apply to the voluntary liquidation of corporate persons under Chapter V of Part II of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
