17. Termination of proceedings. The proceedings under this Act relating to the combinations shall be terminated upon,- (a) receiving an intimation from the person(s) or enterprise(s) who filed the notice to the effect that the proposed combination will not take effect; (b) passing of an order by the Commission under section 31 of the Act. 1 [ Provided that if the approval of the Commission is conditional upon the parties to the combination carrying out modification to the combination, the proceedings shall terminate upon acceptance of the compliance report by the Commission under regulation 26 of these regulations. ] ************** NOTES:- 1.
