Payment of registration fees consequent upon increase in the authorised capital by a section 25 company - Companies Law - Circular : No. 5 of 1996,Extract CIRCULAR NO. 5/96 [F.NO. 8/14/94-CL-V], DATED 24-6-1996, ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPANY AFFAIRS Subject:- Registration fees consequent upon increase in authorised capital by section 25 company I am directed to state that the matter of fees payable by a company to which a licence under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 was issued at the time of increase of its authorised capital was examined in consultation with the Department of Legal Affairs. You are aware that the fee payable at the time of registration by a section 25 company is only Rs. 50 in terms of Notification No. SO 3879 dated 22nd December, 1962. It has been opined that since the quantum of fee payable by a section 25 company having capital has been fixed irrespective of the amount of capital, the fees payable at the time of increase of capital will also be Rs. 50 only.
