New application for on-line filing of returns along with Annexures— 2A & 2B. - VAT - Delhi - 08

Sep. 2011 CIRCULAR NO. 8 OF 2011-12 Sub:- New application for on-line filing of returns along with Annexures 2A 2B In order to facilitate the on-line filing of returns (DVAT-16 and Form- 1) along with Annexures-2A 2B by the dealers, a new software application for filing of returns has been developed. The new application can be accessed on the website of the department www.dvat.gov.in All registered dealers, Advocates, C.A.s and STPs are requested to try out the new software application and offer suggestions/feedback, if any. The data entered into the new application by the users during the trial period shall not be saved in the data base and will not be used for any other purposes. The new application will be available on the website of the Department for user testing upto 15.09.2011. The new software application shall be made Operational w.e.f. 20.09.2011. It will be mandatory for all monthly return filers to file their return for the tax period August 201 1 through the new software application. However, it shall continue to be mandatory for the dealers to submit hard copy of the return filed on-line as earlier. This issues with the prior approval of the Commissioner, Trade Taxes. (U.
