Public Notice No. 84/2003 Dated 10/11/2003 Attention of all Importers, Exporters, Steamer Agents, clearing Agents etc. are hereby invited that in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 , I A.K. Das, Commissioner of Customs (Port), Kolkata, do hereby notify the Container Freight Station Complex of M/s A.L. Logistics Pvt. Ltd. at Vill. P.O. : Debhog, P.S.: Bhowanipur, Sub. Divn : Haldia 721657, Dist, : East Midnapore, West Bengal as described in the Schedule below as Customs Area for the purpose of (1) Receiving/storing Import containers, destuffing, examination and clearance of the Import cargo; (2) receiving/consolidating export cargo, examination thereof, stuffing LCL/FCL container with export cargo, sealing thereof and dispatching the sealed container to Haldia Port for export; and (3) storage of empty containers. 1 THE SCHEDULE The CFS complex belonging to M/s A.L. Logistics Pvt. Ltd. at Vill. P.O. Debhog, P.S. Bhowanipur, Sub Division Haldia 721657, Dist. East Midnapore now measuring 25.38 acres with the following boundaries: South : Weighbridge; Noth : Village (Debhog Uttar Palli) East : Proposed truck terminal; West : Proposed 60 ft. road of Haldia Development Authrity. It is further notified that to and fro transportation of loaded/empty containers from Haldia Dock to C.F.S and vice versa at C.F.S of M/s. A.L. Logistics Pvt. Ltd. will be done through H.D.C Main Gate. In case any deviation is felt necessary, prior written permission from the concerned A.C/Supdt.
