Loading of export goods and unloading of imported goods at ICD Surajpur - Customs - 10/2003

Public Notice 10/2003 24/11/2003 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 8(a) of the Customs Act, 1962(52 of 1962) , I, S.K. Goil, Commissioner of Customs Central Excise, Noida, hereby approve the Inland Container Depot, CWC Complex Plot No. 2-C, Udyog Kendra Industrial Area, Surajpur (Greater Noida) (in short ICD Surajpur ) as a place for loading of export goods and unloading of imported goods, subject to strict observance of the relevant provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 , rules and regulations made thereunder, other instructions issued by the Central Government and by the Commissioner of Customs Central Excise, Noida from time to time. 2. In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962 , I hereby further specify the limits of Customs Area comprising 25.38 acres, which is bound as under : - (1) On the North-Western side By a 365.73 meters long and 2.83 meters high boundary comprising 1 meter base stone cement wall and 1.83 meters grill fencing with 2 nos. entry gates (20 ft. each at northern corner) and 2 nos. exit gates (20 ft. each at a distance of 154 meters from Western corner) situated at a distance of 51.5 meters from the inner boundary wall (8 ft. high brick wall with 2 ft. high goose neck fencing consisting of two 19 meters wide check barriers in from of entry and exit gates), and adjoining the 60 meters wide road of Greater Noida Authority. (2) On the North-Eastern Side By a 285 meters long and 8 ft. high boundary brick wall with 2 ft. high barbed wire fencing on top adjoining which is 24 meter wide High Way. (3) On the South-Eastern Side By a 373.23 meters long and 8 ft. high boundary brick wall with 2 ft. high barbed wire fencing on top adjoining which are industrial plots of Greater Noida Authority. (4) On the South-Western Side By a 277 meters long and 8 ft. high boundary brick wall with 2ft. high barbed wire fencing on top adjoining which are industrial plots of Greater Noida Authority.
