Public Notice No. 11/2006 Dated 13/02/2006 In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 8 (b) of the Customs Act, 1962 , the premises of M/s.Vishrutha logistics limited, 144, Vallur village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District, morefully described below, is declared as CUSTOMS AREA for the purpose of examination and clearance of cargo imported in F.C.L. containers which were allowed to be moved from Chennai Port Trust to the C.F.S. (M/s. Vishrutha logistics limited, 144, Vallur village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District) (other than LCL cargo and Passengers unaccompanied baggage) and examination, stuffing/loading of export cargo into containers under Customs supervision and sealing of the same by Customs with Customs Seals. Description of area and location: M/s.Vishrutha logistics limited, 144, Vallur village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District situated in an area of 38.74 acres having 30,000 sq.ft. covered shed for handling of Import cargo and export cargo, and an open paved area of 2,26,800 sq.ft. for storage of both stuffed and empty containers. (Survey Nos.1006/2C, 1023, 1026to 1031,1032/3,1033,1034/2part,1072,1074 to 77,1486 to 1494,1496/2,1520,1521,1529/1A2) Boundaries :- North : Survey No. 1071, 1035, 1037 South : Road in S.No.1110 East : CMDA APPROVED 60 Road in survey no 1490, 1491, 1492,1487 West : Survey No. 1024, 1025 (Total Area 38.74 Acres ) Procedures to be followed: The procedures for dealing with import FCL cargo (other than Passengers unaccompanied baggage goods) and Export cargo, are to be followed as laid down in P.N. 19/98, 111/2002 and 255/2002 issued by this Custom House.
