ESTATE, NEW DELHI - 110002 (OPERATIONS BRANCH) CIRCULAR Subject: - Arrangements for receipt and movement of quarterly returns for month / quarter ending 31/12/2008 and audited balance sheets in January, 2009. Following arrangements for 22.01.2009, 27.01.2009 28.01.2009 have been made to facilitate the filing of quarterly returns for quarter ending 31.12.2008. 1. On 22nd, 27th and 28th January, 2009 the FRONT OFFICE at the first floor will accept at the monthly returns. The audited balance sheets of the financial year 2007-08 of the monthly return files will also be received at the Front Office on the first floor. 2. Returns for the quarter ending 31.12.2008 (REFUND AS WELL AS NON REFUND BOTH) will be accepted at the specially set up Front Office Extension Counters at the respective floors on 22.01.2009, 27.01.2009 28.01.2009. The Audited balance sheets of the quarterly and other dealers will also be accepted at the Front office Extension Counters. The timings shall be 10.30 AM to 04.30 PM with observance of half hour's lunch break from 01.30 PM to 02.00 PM. The staff arrangement for acceptance of quarterly returns floor wise are to be made by respective Zonal in-charge. 3. Date and numbering stamps for floor wise receipts will be issued to ward-in-charge by Front Office in the afternoon 21.01.2009. These stamps shall be returned back to Front Office by the closing hours on 28.01.2009 without fail. This issues with the prior approval of Commissioner, VAT. (Gyanesh Bharti) Addl.
