Attention of trade, industry importers/exporters, Custom House Agent s Freight Forwarders, Airlines and other community partners is invited to Article 24 of the Schedule to the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957 relating to the instruments pertaining to stamp duty oh high sea sales. 2. The Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps in Karnataka, Bangalore has informed that the Karnataka Stamps Act, 1957 levies stamp duty on high sea sales under Article 24 of the schedule to the said Act. 3. The above provisions of the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957 are brought to the notice of trade and stakeholders who are advised to follow the same scrupulously. (B. BHATTACHARYA) COMMISSIONER
