ESTATE, NEW DELHI - 110002 No. F. 6 (63)/Policy-I/VAT/2009/920 Dated: 25.02.2009 CIRCULAR NO. 8 OF 2008-09 Subject: Regarding maintenance of DVAT-51 in the file etc. This is in continuation of Circular No.7 of 2008-09 dated 12.02.2009 issued on the subject. 2. Instructions have been given during weekly meetings from time to time to have reconciliation of DVAT-51 done in the wards and inter-ward transfers of files should take place with complete set of returns and DVAT-51 along with Statutory Forms, received in the previous wards with immediate effect. 3. In view of above, it is hereby directed that a dealer-wise exercise for the same be carried out in all the wards/zones by VATOs/AVATOs/VATIs under the supervision of Ward in-charge and ensure that it be completed by this weekend and report be submitted to the Commissioner (VAT) through their concerned DCs/JCs by 03.03.2009 positively. 4. Respective DCs/JCs are required to ensure compliance of aforesaid instructions under their personal supervision. 5. This issues with the prior approval of Commissioner (VAT). (B.K.
