Sale of lottery run by State Government – instructions issued - GST - States - 03/2018

The District Lottery Director has informed that the department rolls out 7 weekly lotteries and 6 bumper lotteries. Six weekly lotteries and 6 bumper lotteries are printed in KBPS, Ernakulam and one weekly lottery is printed in C-APT, Thiruvananthapuram. The Lottery Department has 14 district offices and 21 sub-offices across the state. For the verification of the new tickets issued and the unsold tickets after each draw the following circular instructions are issued. 1. The Assistant Commissioner-I of Special Circle, Thiruvananthapuram and the Assistant Commissioner-1 of Special Circle-1, of Ernakulam shall visit the printing press C-APT, Thiruvananthapuram and KBPS, Ernakulam respectively and physically verify the tickets printed there with the invoices issued and thereafter countersign on the statement prepared by the state lottery officials. 2. In the case of unsold ticket, the Assistant Commissioner-I of the following offices and in Pathanamthitta and Wynad, the officers mentioned below shall visit the offices of the Lottery. Department in the respective districts and physically verify the unsold tickets and thereafter countersign the statement prepared by the state lottery officials.
