GST BHAWAN, NAPIER TOWN, JABALPUR (M.P.) 482001 C.No. IV(16)01/Trade Notice/HQ/JBP/Tech/2017-18 Trade Notice No. 15/2017-18 Dated 15.01.2018 Subject:- Standard Operating Procedure for Reporting GSTN Issues-reg It is brought to the notice of all the members of Trade/ Industry/ Trade Associations/Chambers of Commerce and Industry/ RAC and all others concerned regarding technical issues faced by taxpayers on the GST Common portal (operated by GSTN), the following Standard Operating Procedure is requested to be kindly followed: 1. Taxpayer shall first approach the GSTN Helpdesk directly by calling 0120-4888999 or by emailing at [email protected]. A Service Request Number would be issued to the taxpayer, and GSTN will take up resolution of the issue reported. 2. If the first Step has not resulted in resolution of the issue taxpayer can quote the Service Request Number and escalate to CBEC jurisdictional office /GST Seva Kendra. An email describing the issue faced by the taxpayer, also quoting the Service Request Number obtained by the taxpayer on GST helpdesk, may be emailed to GSTN have requested that the subject line should be as per below format to clearly identify the issues reported by CBEC: Subject format: CBEC | State/Zone | Service Request Id | Description of the Issue Example Subject: CBEC | Chennai | SR 201710241555721 | Returns - Error In Filing Return 3. Mr. Sheik Dawood has been designated by GSTN as the Resident Engineer to address taxpayer issues being reported by CBEC officers. He may be contacted directly at +919043853381/[email protected]. 4.
