No: IV(16)Tech.Trade Notice/Ldh/01/2017/Pt-I/4822-59 Dated: 06.07.2017 Trade Notice No.: 06/GST-ICU/LDH/2017 Subject: Formation of GST Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) It is to inform all concerned that for handling the taxpayers related queries with regard to implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) from 1 st July 2017, GST Commissionerate Ludhiana has decided to form GST ICU (Implementation Coordination Unit). This GST ICU will handle all queries that taxpayers may encounter for ensuring a smooth transition. GST ICU would comprise of an Inspector rank officer, supervised by Superintendent ICU under the overall charge of Deputy Commissioner (GST-ICU). All the Divisional Offices as well as the Range Officers are directed that all trade related queries shall be sent to GST ICU on email ID as specified below so that necessary clarification/response can be given to the taxpayers. The, Chartered Accountants / Consultants / Members of Trade and Industry are also requested to send their queries and problems being encountered by them directly to officers posted in GST ICU so that necessary and immediate solutions can be provided. This task has been undertaken by GST Commissionerate Ludhiana in its endeavour to provide better taxpayer services and for smooth transition to GST. One group email-id i.e. [email protected] and a toll free helpline no. 1800-180-0425 is prepared, where the taxpayers can send their queries and problems regarding transition to GST.
