This is for information of all suppliers/vendors/service providers that the Directorate General Supply and Disposal (DGS D) has developed an online portal for procurement of common use goods services by Government departments called Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The purchases by Government buyers have also been authorized by Ministry of Finance by adding a new Rule No. 149 in the General Financial Rules, 2017. 2. Central Goods and Services Tax, Commissionerate, Ludhiana requests all vendors / service providers / Govt. suppliers to get themselves registered at the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal on the website https://gem.gov.in for supply of goods services to the department since all the purchases have been made mandatory through GeM.
