E-Way Bill is a compliance mechanism under the GST Law, wherein a person causing movement of goods of consignment value more than ₹ 50,000/- is required to upload specified Information prior to the commencement of the movement of goods and generate E-Way Bill on the GST portal. 2. The E-Way Bill Rules will come into force from 01.02.2018. With a view to familiarizing the trade, industry and transporters of goods with the rules and procedures relating to E-Way Bill, a Seminar on ' E-Way Bill under GST law' is being held on 31.01.2018 from 04.00 pm to 05.00 pm at the Conference Hall, 3rd Floor, a-Wing at the Office of the Trichy GST Commissionerate. 3. The members of the business and industry dealing in goods and transporters of goods are requested to attend the Seminar at the time and venue specified above. 4. The Trade Industry Associations / Chambers of Commerce are requested to bring the contents of the Trade Notice to the notice of all their members.
