No. S186 - 02/2018A (N) Pt-l Dated: 30.04.2019 Public Notice No. 28/2019 Subject: Transport of containers by Rail from Kolkata/ Haldia Docks to Bathnaha and onwards to Biratnagar, Nepal under Electronic Cargo Tracking System (ECTS) in terms of Public Notice No. 08/2019 dated 25/01/2019. Attention of all concerned is drawn to Public Notice No. 08/2019 dated 25/01/2019 wherein transport of containers by Rail from Kolkata/Haldia Docks to Birgunj, Nepal and from Kolkata/ Haldia Docks to Bathnaha and onwards to Biratnagar, Nepal under Transhipment Procedure-Electronic Cargo Tracking System (ECTS) has been prescribed on and from 15/02/2019. (2) In order to facilitate trade and to overcome the difficulties encountered during the operation of movement through congested LCS Jogbani, it has been decided that Nepal bound Transit containers sealed with ECFS Seal moving by Rail upto Bathnaha RS, will thereafter move by road to Integrated Check Post (ICP) Jogbani where ECTS Seals will be unlocked, and trip report will be generated. The containers will then enter Nepal through Integrated Check Post Biratnagar or ICP Biratnagar. This road movement may also be carried out from Bathnaha through LCS Jogbani by CONCOR.
