The Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018 (SCMTR) notified vide Notification No.38/2018 Customs (N.T.) dated 11.05.2018 will come into effect from 01.08.2019. The new regulations bring some fundamental changes in the entire manifest process and cast a considerable responsibility on various stakeholders involved in the movement of cargo, viz., Shipping Lines/ Agents, Freight Forwarders, Custodians, and Terminal Operators etc. The SCMTR bring a paradigm shift in the various external stakeholders involed in the movement of cargo, and advance declarations. While the required developments in ICES towards implementing all the new regulations are underway, it is imperative that all the stakeholders are apprised of these changes in advance. In this regard, for sake of introducing and apprising the said Regulations, 2018, this Customs House, is going to conduct the introducing training programme on 19.06.2019 at 11.00 A.M. at Shri Dayashankar Auditorium, Ground Floor, New Custom House, Mumbai.
