In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 , as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in Para 6.34(14) of Chapter 6 of HBP 2015-20 Para No. Existing Provision Proposed Amendment 6.34(14) Registration-cum-Membership Certificate: Function as a Registering authority for EOU / EHTP / STP / BTP unit. A separate Registration cum -Membership Certificate shall not be required in their cases as provided for in Paragraph 2.44 of FTP except in case of spices. In case of spices, it would be mandatory for units to get themselves registered with Spices Board also . Registration-cum Membership Certificate: Function as a Registering authority for EHTP / STP / BTP unit. A separate Registration - cum - Membership Certificate shall not be required in their cases as provided for in Paragraph 2.55 of FTP. Effect of this Public Notice: Consequential amendment is made in the powers of Development Commissioner to act as a registering Authority in view of EPCES being recognised as a registering authority for EOUs vide Public Notice no. 44/2015-20 dated 05.11.2018.
