Tech Date: 27.11.2014 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 02/2014 Sub: Empanelment of Charted Engineers for valuation of Second hand Machinery/goods etc,. Attention of all importers, Custom Brokers and members of the trade is invited to the Public Notice No-48/2012 Cus. dated 07.12.2012 whereby a panel of Chartered Engineers was constituted for valuation of second hand/old and used Import/Export goods/ Machineries under the provisions of Customs Act, Rules and Regulations made there under. The said panel is valid upto 31.12.2014. Based on the review of performance of the empanelled Charted Engineers, it has been decided to extend the tenure of the panel for a further period of one year, i.e., upto 31.12.2015. 2. It is also clarified that the services of the empanelled Charted Engineers shall continue to be utilized in the Airport and Air Cargo Complex Commissionerate, Bengaluru, accordingly. 3. The Public Notice No.48/2012 dated 07.12.2012 stands modified to the above extent. (Sandeep Prakash) Commissioner
