Attention of the importers, Custom Brokers, members of the trade and all other stake holders is invited to ICES Advisory No. 30/2020 dated 19.08.2020 issued by Directorate General of Systems and Data Management. 2. The Primary Data Centre (DC) is located at Delhi and Disaster Recovery (DR) Site is located at Chennai. In order to test the readiness of the DR sites, DG (Systems) would be conducting a Disaster Recovery Drill from 20:00 Hours on 21StAugust 2020 to 12:00 Hours on 23rd August 2020. 3. In view of above, document filing at Service Centers and through Remote EDI System (RES) would be stopped at 20:00 Hours on 21StAugust 2020, to facilitate switch over from DC, Delhi (the Primary site) to DR, Chennai (Disaster Recovery site). During the planned Customs Maintenance activity, document filling through RES/Service Centres, online payment of Customs duties and GSTN integration services will not be available from 20:00 Hours on 21st August, 2020 to 10:00 Hours on 22nd August, 2020 from 19:00 Hours on 22nd August, 2020 to 12:00 Hours on 23rd August, 2020. Therefore, documents in ICES may be filed outside mentioned activity window. Further, all activities in ICES regarding ICES application either by officers or by service center must be completed by 20:00 hours on 21 st August 2020. 4. All trade associations / members of Customs Brokers Association are requested to take note and publicize the contents of this Public Notice among their members / constituents. 5. For the departmental officers, this may be treated as Standing Order. 6. Difficulties, if any, may be brought to the notice of Additional Commissioner of Customs (Technical), ACC Import, New Customs House, New Delhi through e-mail on email ID: [email protected].
