Service Tax Allocation of major head/minor head/sub-head for depositing service tax by advertising, Courier and Paging agencies Trade Notice No. 151/96, dated 19-12-1996 of the Cochin Commissionerate Attention is invited to this office Trade Notice No. 129/96, dated 13-11-1996 regarding adoption of Yellow coloured TR-6 Challans for depositing the Service Tax in the Bank under Major Head "0044 - Service Tax". Details of new Heads of accounts (Minor Head/Sub-Head) and their serial codes in respect of Advertising/Courier/Radio paging services for tax collection are furnished hereunder.
