The undersigned is directed to invite kind attention to the OM under reference and to reiterate that the FIU-IND has switched over from paper based requests to online request for exchange of information w.e.f 31.10.2015 and all information would be provided online either through the web based request or bulk utility request and no paper based requests would be entertained after 31.10.2015. However, it is seen that paper based requests are still being sent to CBDT for onward transmission to FIU-IND and the online facility available to each DGIT(Inv.) through Finnet is not being utilised. 2. The undersigned is directed to reiterate the aforesaid communication of CBDT and to request that the Bulk Utility facility (to be used in case of multiple persons, names etc.) and web based facility( in case of limited persons) may be utilised while seeking data from FIU-IND. It is pertinent to mention that the response from FIU-IND to online request facility will be more prompt and speedy as FIU-IND sends immediate response if no data in respect of person(s) is available in their database and in 72 hours, if data is available in their database along-with the requisite data. The Dos and Donts while making such requests on Finnet are enclosed herewith. For problem resolution FIU-IND helpdesk can be contacted by mailing a screen shot of the problem encountered to [email protected]. in or contacting 011-24109793. Any repeated/delayed non-resolution of the problem by FIU-IND may kindly be brought to the notice of the undersigned by marking a copy of the mail to [email protected], for taking up with FIU-IND. 3.
