Attention is invited to minutes of Technical Point No. 3 of the West Zone Collectors Conference held at Pune on 19th Oct., 1987 wherein it was desired by Chairman that instructions should be issued to all other Collectors of Central Excise requiring exempted Small Scale Units to show the progressive total of clearance value/quantity on the invoices etc. issued by them. 2. The matter has since been examined by the Board. It is observed that vide para 2(C) of Instructions F. No. 213/13/86-CX.6, dated 27-2-1986 (Circular No. 22/86-CX.6) directions have already been issued to all Collectors of Central Excise to ensure that clearance documents of Small scale units exempted from licensing control, show the progressive total of quantity/value of excisable goods cleared during the financial year. 3. The Board desires that above Instructions should be complied with without fail and suitable Trade notice be also issued for the information of the Trade.
