Reviewing and monitoring of junior officers decisions Circular No. 43/87-CX.6 Dated 17-12-1987 [From F. No. 218/52/87-CX.6] Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) New Delhi Subject : Collectors' Conference November, 1987- Recommendation No. 13 of Group No. I regarding monitoring of junior officers decisions against revenue. Attention is invited to the aforesaid recommendation suggesting that the Collectorate, at their level, should devise arrangements for reviewing and monitoring decisions of ACs/DCs which have revenue implications to enable them to review their correctness and to take appropriate action. 2. The Board has accepted the aforesaid recommendation and decided that the Collectors should devise suitable arrangements so that all decisions of Assistant Collectors cases and Deputy Collectors having revenue implications including cases in which decision proposed to be taken is contrary to the classification Index are brought to their notice to enable them to take corrective action wherever deemed necessary. 3. Action taken in this regard may please be reported immediately.
