Maintenance of all files with pagination and cataloguing and indexing of all records files Order No. 3 of 2010 Dated 22-2-2010 It is noticed that in relation to the files maintained by the registry of the CESTAT either at Delhi or its Benches neither proper catalogue or index thereof is maintained nor proper pagination is being done. In some of the files, total absence of pagination has been noticed. It is necessary to maintain proper records of all the files and their contents and, therefore, Registrar is directed to ensure maintenance of complete catalogue/index of all the files maintained in the CESTAT at all its Benches and also to ensure proper pagination of all the files. Necessary steps in this regards are required to be taken forthwith and the catalogue/index of all the files at every. Bench along with pagination of each of such files should be done and work in that regard should be completed by 30th March, 2010 without fail. The Head Clerk and the Assistant Registrar and the Deputy Registrar, as the case may be, of each of the Sections and/or department shall be responsible to get the said work done in relation to the files in each of the Sections and/or department under his jurisdiction and shall be responsible for and to ensure the completion of the said work and the Registrar shall file compliance report in this regard by 5th April, 2010.
