CITs(A) asked to visit places and hold hearing. - Income Tax - 1488/CBDT

INSTRUCTION NO. 1488/CBDT Dated: November 3, 1982 Reference is invited to Board's Instruction No.1461 dated 8-3-1982 directing that the departmental appellate authorities should visit various places in their charge and hear appeals relating to those places at the respective stations. The Board desire that CsIT (Appeal) should also follow this practice to the maximum extent. Compliance with this instruction will be duly considered while evaluating their performance at the end of the year.
