Constitution of Tax Bench on continuous basis. - Income Tax - 1735/CBDT

INSTRUCTION NO. 1735/CBDT Dated: November 13, 1986 Please refer to Board's Instruction No. 1656 dated 24th October, 1985 asking you to call on the Chief Justice of the High Court and make a request to him to constitute Tax Bench on a continuing basis. The feed back received from you was encouraging. However, there is still heavy pendency of tax cases before the High Courts. Therefore, there is need for similar action this year also. I would like you to call on the Chief Justice of your High Court and request him to constitute a tax bench on continuous basis. Please keep me informed of results of your meeting with the Chief Justice of your High Court.
