Notifies "Arulthiru Devi Karumari Amman Thirukkoil, Thiruverkadu, Madras " u/s 80G NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.517 DATED 9-1-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of sub-section (2) of section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies "Arulthiru Devi Karumari Amman Thirukkoil, Thiruverkadu, Madras", to be a place of public worship of renown throughout the State of Tamil Nadu for the purposes of the said section on the conditions that the temple will maintain separate books of account for the purpose and that the donations received will be utilised exclusively for the renovation of the temple.
