Amendment in Notification Nos. 1/2011-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2011 and 12/2012-Central Excise, dated the 17th March, 2012 - 23/2013 - Central Excise - Tariff

(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) , the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely:- TABLE Sr. No. Notification No. and Date Amendments (1) (2) (3) 1. 1/2011-Central Excise, dated the 1 st March, 2011 In the said notification, in the Table, serial number 82 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted. 2. 12/2012-Central Excise, dated the 17 th March, 2012 In the said notification, in the Table, for serial number 187A and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and the entries shall be substituted, namely:- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) 187A 6901 00 10 6904 10 00 All goods Nil - [F.No.354/117/2013-TRU] (Raj Kumar Digvijay) Under Secretary to the Government of India Note- (1) The principal notification No. 1/2011-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2011 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R.116 (E), dated the 1st March, 2011 , and last amended by notification No. 16/2013-Central Excise, dated the 8th May, 2013, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 295 (E), dated the 8th May, 2013. (2) The principal notification No. 12/2012-Central Excise, dated the 17th March, 2012 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 163(E) dated the 17th March, 2012 and was last amended vide notification No.20/2013-Central Excise, dated the 5th June, 2013 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 358 (E) dated the 5th June, 2013.
