Notification u/s 35AC - Notifies the scheme or project "Tribal Schools and Welfare Initiatives" which is being carried out by "Vyakti Vikas Kendra India, 19, 39th "A" Cross, 11the Main, IV 'T' Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore – 560 041," - 11/2013 - S.O. 3129(E) - Income Tax

NOTIFICATION NO. 11/2013 DATED 17-10-2013 S.O. 3129(E) - Whereas by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) number S.O. 1794(E), dated 23rd October, 2007 issued under clause (b) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) , the Central Government had notified at serial number 10, "Tribal Schools and Welfare Initiatives" by "Vyakti Vikas Kendra India, 19, 39th "A" Cross, 11th Main, IV 'T' Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore - 560 041," as an eligible project at the estimated cost of R. 6.42 crore for a period of three years ending with financial year 2009-10 which was further extended vide notification number S.O. 2358(E), dated 29th September, 2010 for a period of three years ending with financial year 2012-13. And whereas vide Notification number S.O. 2358(E), dated 29th September, 2010 , the project cost was enhanced from Rs. 6.42 crore to Rs. 11.51 crore; And whereas the said project or scheme is likely to extend beyond 6 years; And whereas the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, being satisfied that the said project or scheme is being executed properly, made a further recommendation under sub-rule (5) of rule 11M of the Income-tax Rules, 1962 for specifying the said project or scheme for a further period of three years; Now, therefore, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (b) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) , hereby notifies the scheme or project "Tribal Schools and Welfare Initiatives" which is being carried out by "Vyakti Vikas Kendra India, 19, 39th "A" Cross, 11the Main, IV 'T' Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore 560 041," without any change in the approved cost of Rs. 11.51 crore, as an eligible project or scheme, for a further period of three years commencing with financial year 2013-14, i.e., 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16.
