MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION Dated 13/12/2007 S.O. 2128(E) - Whereas M/s. Fab City SPV (India) Private Limited, a private organization in the State of Andhra Pradesh, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for manufacturing and developing semi-conductor facility, semi-conductor devices, solar photovoltaic cells and modules and solar photovoltaic thin film modules with provision to invest in the downstream or upstream vertical chain along with a Free Trade and Warehousing Zone at Raviryal and Srinagar Villages, Maheswaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Andhra Pradesh; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , has notified the total area of 120.06 hectares at Raviryal and Srinagar Villages, Maheswaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Andhra Pradesh, as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification No. S.O. 41(E) dated 15th January, 2007 ; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 299.23 hectares at Raviryal and Srinagar Villages, Maheswaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Andhra Pradesh, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the Table, to be included as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely:- Table Sl.
