Appointing officers of the rank of Commissioner of Customs - 60/2015 - Customs - Non Tariff

New Delhi, dated the 4 th June, 2015 G.S.R 453(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 152 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers of the Central Board of Excise and Customs under section 4 and section 5 of the said Act may be exercised also by the 1 [Principal Director General or the Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence,], New Delhi for appointing officers of the rank of 2 [Principal Commissioner or Commissioner or Additional Commissioner or Joint Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner of Customs ] or Additional Director General of the said Directorate for the purpose of adjudication of cases investigated by that Directorate.
