In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), read with rules 3,4 and 5 of the Development Councils (Procedural) Rules, 1952 the Central Government hereby establishes the Development Council for Sugar Industry for a period of two years from the date of publication of this order in the Official Gazette and appoints the following persons as Chairman, Member-Secretary and members of the said Council, namely:- 1.
