Rescinds the Newsprint Control Order, 1962 - S.O. 1104(E). - Indian Law

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion) ORDER New Delhi, the 11 th October, 2004 S.O. 1104(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby rescinds the Newsprint Control Order, 1962, with immediate effect, except as respect as things done or omitted to be done under the Order before such recession.
