New Delhi, dated the 29th December, 2015 G.S.R. 1010 (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of section 8C of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) , the Central Government hereby rescinds the Customs Tariff (Transitional Product Specific Safeguard Duty) Rules, 2002 , published by Notification No. 34/2002-NT-CUSTOMS, dated the 11th June, 2002 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 420 (E), dated the 11th June, 2002 , except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
