Act-1-2017-(Order)-(42)-2017 Lucknow : Dated : August 25, 2017 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (U.P. Act no. I of 2017) , read with section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 (U.P. Act no. 1 of 1904), the Governor, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following amendments in the Government notification No. KA.NI.-2- 848/XI-9(47)/17-U.P. Act-1-2017-Order-(15)-2017: Dated: June 30, 2017 , namely:- AMENDMENT In the aforesaid notification, in the first paragraph, after clause (ii) the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- (iii) services by way of house-keeping, such as plumbing, carpentering etc, except where the person supplying such service through electronic commerce operator is liable for registration under sub-section (1) of section 22 of the said Act . . 2.
