Central Government specifies interest on the deposits in the Non-Resident (Non-repatrible) Rupee Deposit Scheme accruing to non-residents only 10(15)(i) NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.653 ( E ) DATED 31-8-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause ( i ) of clause (15) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies interest on the deposits in the Non-Resident (Non-repatrible) Rupee Deposit Scheme accruing to non-residents only, for the purposes of the said clause for the assessment year 1993-94 and subsequent assessment years.
