Central Government de-notifies an area of 5.58 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 13.92 hectares at Trans Thane Creek Industrial Area, MIDC, District Thane, in the State of Maharashtra - S.O. 3610 (E) - Special Economic Zone

Rescinded Vide Notification No. S.O. 4127(E) dated 07-11-2019 MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 20th July, 2018 S.O. 3610(E).- Whereas, M/s. New Found Properties and Leasing Pvt. Ltd, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology enabled services at Trans Thane Creek Industrial Area, MIDC, District Thane, in the State of Maharashtra; And, Whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , had notified and de-notified the following areas at above Special Economic Zone as per the details given below:- S. New Found Properties and Leasing Pvt. Ltd has now proposed for de-notification of 5.58 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone; And, Whereas, the State Government of Maharashtra has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. SEZ-2015/CR-133/Ind-2 dated 12th June, 2018; And, Whereas, the Development Commissioner, SEEPZ Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 5.58 hectares of the Special Economic Zone; And, Now, Whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 5.58 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 13.92 hectares , comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:- TABLE FOR DE-NOTIFICATION AREA Sl.
